Presquile Provincial Park

What a great day we had Saturday.  First, the weather was spectacular, I think it was only -8 celsius or thereabouts…………..the sky was so blue and the sun was shining.  Wonderful day to get up at 6 a.m. and go photographing !

Off we went, with coffee in hand, arriving at Presquile Provincial Park about 810 a.m.  Headed out on some trails and spotted this guy, or girl.  Apparently there are two adults and kits but we only saw one adult this day.

He was wandering around and chewing the bark off branches.  Breakfast time for beavers.  He was not bothered by us at all.  We kept our distance but he really didn’t care that we were there.

At one point, he went back down a hole to his house but came out again a little later.

He looks like he’s plotting something

We didn’t just watch him, we headed out to other spots and took lots of photos.  Just a beautiful day, did I mention that?  Not a lot of people out which was odd…….I thought.

I saw someone else do this and I really thought it was cute so I’m copying !

We were there about 4 1/2 hours before we had to leave for Signal Brewery.  Can’t wait to go again !
