So we’re still in the Masai Mara which kind of reminds me a little of the province of Saskatchewan to be honest. Somewhat flat and lots of brown grass !
We spotted a bunch of jeeps in a circle and saw that there was a male and female lion in the center. I wasn’t keen on this to be honest, although everyone said they are used to it but that doesn’t make it right.

Captive Lions, so to speak…We were behind the first row of jeeps but I had my big lens which is how I got all these photos and closeups
He walked over and lay by this jeep

Having a snooze together

You can see how well camoflauged they can be
Is he talking to these birds?
They really blend into the landscape, it is a wonder we ever saw any!
We saw so many animals here; ostrich, topis, jackals, giraffes and more. But more exciting was spotting 2 cheetahs on a mound of dirt and another on the move.

I guess he is tired
Sometimes we were the only jeeps around and then other times………it was like this

That’s it for the lions and cheetahs and jeeps………..See you soon
