We were up early and on to the next stop. It was about a 4 hour drive to Buffalo Springs National Reserve and our resort was called Sarova Shaba Lodge. This resort was quite something, some photos in another Blog post. But if you click the link above, you can see an aerial photo of all the cabins and the resort along a river.
Below are some photos I took along the way, from a moving Safari Jeep, through a window and with my cell phone.

Mountains in the distance
Everybody was on the highway !
And I mean everybody !
Some local businesses
School kids !
First Class Restaurant right there !
Market
We stopped at a place, the name escapes me, and it was a Women’s Collective where they did weaving and sold the items they made.

The women were so friendly and told us all about weaving
This was so cool to watch
They sold a lot of items here
They showed us some cactus plants and other items that they use for dyes to get the different coloured wool to weave.

As we were getting close to our turn off, our driver, Major (our driver) received a radio message saying there was a leopard in a tree on the reserve. We were on the main highway so instead of heading straight and to the right to our resort, we took a left onto the reserve and we were able to find the leopard. Now you have to wait for the next Blog Post………..!
