
We stayed at the Visitor Centre in Labrador City, they had about 9 sites at $65 per night, with full hook up. Gas here is about $.155 a litre and it stayed at about 19 Celsius while we were here. We drove around the area, going to Jean Lake, Fremont, Wabush and around Labrador City. We stopped at the one and only microbrewery in all of Labrador called Iron Rock brewery. We got talking to the young lady working there and found out she was from Ontario. I asked what part and she said oh just a small place you probably don’t know. Try me! She told us she was from Prince Edward County, about 1/2 hour drive from our house and that her Aunt and Uncle own a brewery there. The brewery is called Gillingham’s and we go there a lot and in fact, we had went there just before leaving on this trip. Small world.
