This is a short post, I wrote about going to Bartlett Lodge for dinner one evening. Well when we returned to the dock to get into our truck to head back to our campsite, we ran into some friends. They were out hunting for moose to photograph, as we all do ! Anyways, we had a short visit and then we all got into our vehicles and headed back to Mew Lake Campground. Just down the road we spotted a moose on the road. Now remember this is a Provincial Highway in the Park and it’s BUSY. We pulled over as did our friends and another vehicle. He was heading away from us so we snapped a couple of shots and all of a sudden a vehicle flew past us all and drove down the centre of the road like he was chasing the moose. The moose didn’t know what to do so he also starting running down the centre the road with the car chasing him. Finally, thankfully, the moose headed off the highway into the bush.

He was starting to go off the road and then the car chased him, he was scared 
What the heck?
I don’t know if the people thought they were doing the moose a favour by trying to chase him off the road but all they did was exacerbate the situation, in my opinion. It took the moose longer to get off the road. So was he trying to be helpful or was he being a huge jerk? We’ll never know…………
Having said that, I’m going with…… he was being a jerk………
