One day we drove west, out of the Park, and stopped at the side of the highway as I wanted to get shots of this scene, above. Fall is so pretty in Ontario.
We drove to a Non-Operating Provincial Park, meaning there are no facilities and no camping, the name was Big Wind Lake Provincial Park, accessed by taking Black River Road off of Highway 118, then head north on the Old Wagon Road. NOTE: These roads are not maintained which is fine for us as we have an off road truck. ALSO, they are planning on putting actual campgrounds here and opening it to the Public for camping. read more here that will be great as we don’t have enough camping spots in Ontario.

No this, No that, No anything according to the sign !

On another day, we took a drive and made our way to the Access Point for Hollow River – Dividing Lake (part of Algonquin Park), which borders Algonquin Park. We didn’t stop there long and then we continued down some other dirt roads. To get here, take Kawagama Road and you can stop at the access point. We then continued down Dagger Lake Road which ends up at Rockaway Lake.
