I have had quite a few new followers lately so I thought I’d do another introduction post. I’m Susan and I’m in the above photo along with Trum. I think we all know who is who lol. This was taken by my husband Clint when we were in Banff, Alberta a couple of years ago.
We live in Canada, in the Province of Ontario, two hours east of Toronto. Trum is of course a stuffed monkey, in case you were wondering, and he was given to me by my friend Denise. We take him everywhere; he has been in museums, on trails, bars, boats, restaurants, you name it, he’s been there. As I mentioned in a post recently….. Do people look at us strangely when we carry him around? Yes. Do people look at us strangely when we don’t carry him around? Yes.
I started this Blog, probably about 9 years ago? I don’t remember but I started it to show my wildlife photography and talk about our travels, International and North America. We have a trailer that we have pulled from Newfoundland to the Yukon and throughout the USA. Our local area is also a great place for photography, lots of wonderful places to explore. We are close to a few Provincial parks, Lake Ontario, Moira River, Prince Edward County and more.
We spend a lot of time in Ontario’s Provincial Parks, particularly Algonquin Park, my favourite. We have been to almost all of the parks in Ontario but I particularly love the parks in Northern Ontario because I like to be out in the bush hiking or canoeing as often as possible. We have an offroad truck and we like to go down roads that most people do not go down or are unable to go down. I also do landscape photography, flowers, insects etc but my focus is wildlife.
I did want to mention that on my Blog, I have a photo gallery and also, if you are looking for somewhere or something in particular to read about…..on the right side of the page, scroll down, there is a Search Button. You can type Algonquin or Denali or whatever and it will come up with all posts relating to that word. And any questions, you can always email me at Trumstravels@gmail.com or ask on the post.
I went through a few (few = thousands) of my photos and pulled out a few (few = many, many) of my favourites, mostly from the last 2-5 years. I will leave You with a whole lot of photos to scroll through and not say anymore! Thanks for reading my posts, I appreciate it. Enjoy……….
