Algonquin Park – Fall 2022….Landscapes

Above photo was taken on Highway 60, which is an Ontario Provincial highway that runs through the Park. We spend a lot of time on this highway which is about 56 kilometres from one end of the Park to the other. I happened to catch a rainbow in this photo, lucky me!

  • We had to park on the highway and walk down a bit of a trail to this lake for me to get this photo
  • Colourful trees by Tea Lake Campground
  • An island on Lake of 2 Rivers Lake in the early morning fog
  • The next day we stopped and I took a photo of the same island and it was so foggy, this is what I got lol

  • Lake of 2 Rivers early morning just as the sun was rising

  3. Beautiful roads which travel through the trees. You got to see a lot of color … including a rainbow. I’ve never photographed a rainbow and can’t remember the last time I’ve even seen a rainbow. No wonder you keep coming back here – it is so scenic.
