Seoul, South Korea – 2026 – Part 2

We went to the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History which was very interesting and I enjoyed it a lot. There was a lot about the Korean War and what led up to and beyond. When North Korea attacked South Korea in the early 1950’s, my Dad was in South Korea as he was in the Army. As I mentioned, it was interesting museum.

We also went to the Gyeongbokgung Palace, but it happened to be closed on Wednesdays. We were able to walk around the outside but not go in any of the buildings.

The weather is really nice today and I’m hot! We headed to a craft brewery called the Kiwa Taproom where they had Elujiro Brewing Co. beer. It was in an old building but that didn’t affect the taste of the beer !

One day we took a cable car up to the Seoul North Tower with a structural height of 236.7 metres. It was lovely up there and they had all kinds of little stores and restaurants.

One more post on Seoul and then we head to the city of Gyeongju-si !
