We stayed at the Royal Oaks RV Park; nice park. We were only there one night so it suited our needs. Clean park, small and there was no one at the office when we got there but we were able to pick our site and pay later. Bemidji is the home of Paul Bunyan and Babe.
So we did drive in to see the big statues. They were repainting Mr Bunyan while we were there. We went into the Visitor Centre and by the time we came out he was completely painted white and then I suppose and hope, they were going to repaint him. We went for breakfast the next day at Minnesota Nice and had a bite to eat. Nice place, good food. The staff were all friendly and the place was clean. Which is always a good thing.
