Massassauga Point Conservation Area

A view of the water and there is a bench right there to rest on

Massassauga Point Conservation Area is another area we go to quite often. It’s not too far to drive to get there. My husband, years ago before I met him, used to live quite close to this Conservation Area. There are about 4 kms worth of trails and some of it follows along the shores of the Bay of Quinte.

There used to be an old Hotel situated here, the Massassauga Hotel, but only remnants remain now. It operated in the 1890’s. There is an old limestone quarry on part of the trail as well.

Well now, which way to go?
Great trails

I didn’t take too many photos this day, maybe next time I will. It was a nice walk and we will get back there again soon.
