Monday 24 June – sunny and hot again. Now we’re off to Beaumont Texas. We stayed at the Hidden Lake RV Park for $40 a night. We didn’t get there and set up until around five and we were tired. We went out to get gas and have dinner. We ate a the Twin Peaks restaurant. The girls that were servers all looked to be about 12 years old and they were all dressed in neon bikinis. Really? Food was okay…….barely. On the way home we stopped at a Texas Visitor Center.
Tuesday 25 June – pouring down rain and a big thunderstorm. We stayed in all day and are staying here one more night because the weather is so crappy. But we did get laundry done and a few things done around the trailer. This was supposed to be a quick stopover but due to the weather, it was long and so we didn’t do much in this area.
