We have been pretty busy the last few weeks but yesterday morning we managed to go paddling on the Moira River, one of my favourite spots. We spotted a Green Heron right away and sat for a very long time photographing him. I took hundreds of photos but here are just some of my pics. I think you would get bored looking at hundreds! lol

What a beautiful bird and amazing captures! I needed you today as I was almost home and driving when I watched a bald eagle swoop down and grab a critter near a creek. It happened so fast I couldn’t make out what it was but it was right next to a house so I am hopping it wasn’t a pet!

Thanks Diane! Oh wow hope it wasn’t a small dog! I’ve heard of that happening. I love Bald Eagles, they are so majestic. I have a bunch of photos I took this summer of Eagles but haven’t had time to look through.
