We had a great time at Presquile Provincial Park the other day. It’s a beautiful park and set right on Lake Ontario. We met some friends and hiked quite a bit and did a lot of photo taking. Well, I didn’t do a lot, I mostly just wanted a social day out and to have lunch with friends, Mission Accomplished!
Here a couple of my photos….

Part of one trail we did Trying to be Artsy again Another Artsy photo lol Baltimore Oriole
Love the photos of the birds. Orioles are beautiful and on a crisp winter day I like to hear the sound of the woodpecker. He sounds like a jack hammer in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for sharing.

Woodpeckers are one of my favourites! Especially the Pileated which I haven’t seen for a while.

I can only imagine seeing the birds you featured, in my neck of the woods. What a treat that would be! Thank you for sharing! Nice job being artsy. 😁

Haha thank you the artsy comment! I try😀. The birds are awesome but it is a migration route which is why there are so many different ones

You are welcome. You made me smile. Oh, thank you for explaining that. One of the things I miss about living in Southern AZ is seeing the many birds pass through.

Looks like a nice walk and closer to home for you. I’ve never seen a Baltimore Oriole or a Red-Headed Woodpecker though they are around. I’ve only seen the Red-bellied and Downy Woodpeckers.

That’s the first time, that I can remember, seeing a Red Headed woodpecker. We get get Downeys and Hairys in our backyard sometimes.

It was beautiful, so vibrant with that red head. I’ve never even seen a Hairy woodpecker – I think they are more in northern Michigan.
