Over the course of a few days, we visited a few Bourbon Distilleries and some of them we took a tour. Of course, we also did the tastings.
Above photo is the entrance of Evans Williams and we took a tour of that place. It was a great tour, they had a hologram movie, (short) and lots of information.

One of the rooms on our tour where we tried the bourbon
Old Forrester is the oldest distillery in Louisville and we did another tour! While we waited for our tour, we had a cocktail and some popcorn.
James Beam was a popular distillery and of course, we took another tour and had some tastings there. This was not all in the same day ! Just in case anyone is wondering lol We also had lunch at this spot and Clint tried the Burgoo stew which he really liked; neither of us had ever heard of this before.

This was a huge property with lots of buildings and things to see and do

We also went to Willett Distilleries , Old Talbott Tavern, Heaven’s Hill and a few more. The Old Talbott Tavern is in Bardstown which is supposed to be the Bourbon Capital of the World.

Next stop………..Nashville !!

The stew looks interesting, I’d try it! I’m glad you two didn’t drink all of that booze in one shot! I’ve heard that Jimmy Beam and Jose’ Cuervo’ were once good friends… Have a great weekend, guys. 🍻

The stew looks good as do the ingredients in it. I never knew it was “James” Beam, so formal – thought it was Jim Beam!

I can just imagine the scent of the wood and history in that old tavern! Your “of course” comments made me laugh. 😄 Cheers!
