Portugal, Batalha

We left Fatima early in the morning and headed to Batalha to the Batalha Monastery, a masterpiece of Gothic and Manueline style, also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We probably spent 90 minutes to 2 hours here wandering around and admiring the architecture.

Beautiful spot but that’s all we got to see of Batalha, except for the drive through the town.

This was going to be a busy day, next stop was the coastal town of Nazare.

      1. I have so many moose photos and videos! We just got home today so I’ll have to download them. It barely snowed for a couple of minutes, like a rainy snow but the next few days it’s warming right up again!

      2. That’s great you got so many moose photos and videos – I will look forward to seeing them. The weather is crazy. We almost got to freezing last night – most counties had a hard freeze and Monday it will be 76F (24C).
