So here we are, back where we started. We are only spending 2 nights at Arrowhead Provincial Park and then heading home.We had site 478 this time, on Road 6. Nice site, fairly large and private, most sites at Arrowhead are like that. They have a Visitor Centre and Store and you can purchase ice and firewood and also rent canoes, kayaks etc
Arrowhead is well known for Big Bend River, which you can paddle and also view from different look out spots.
We took a walk on the Beaver Meadow Trail. They have a few trails in this park. Two can be cycling or hiking and 5 others for hiking. They have a Pet Beach, Pet Exercise Area and 4 beaches.

We went for a drive to the Tim River and Magnetawan Lake accesses points on the west side of Algonquin Park. These access points are for back country camping which we love to do. It was about a 60 km drive but we enjoyed it. You get your permit for back country camping in the tiny town of Kearney and it’s a really cute place. Off we went down some dirt roads and finally made it to the entrance to the Tim River. We plan on coming back to the Tim River in the fall.

Below are some photos of the area on this drive and we also stopped on the side of the road to see some small waterfalls and cascades, beautiful area.

I took this photo quick out of the window, it just struck me as funny. The Turkeys standing guard over the Geese.
So this was our last stop, home we go…………………….Stay safe everyone!
So beautiful!
