One day we decided to drive to Dorset, it was a beautiful day about 17 Celsius mostly sunny. Dorset has the coolest old General Store called Robinsons General Store. There is so much to see in this place and they have a lot of unique items. When I was a kid, my parents had our cottage somewhat close to Dorset, maybe about 10 kms outside Dorset which is about 35 kms from Algonquin Park. When I was a kid, we used to come in this store and I would always head to the Comic Books! Fond memories for sure….And no photos, I should have taken some of the town of Dorset but if you hit the link above, you can see how pretty it is there.
When we were finished in Dorset, we decided to continue on to the towns of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge and Torrance. We stopped first at the Lake of Bays Brewery, Muskoka, Sawdust City and Clear Lake Brewery. And no, no drinking today, we just bought a couple at each place to take home. These are some of my favourite breweries. We stopped at the Frosty Pint in Gravenhurst , sat outside and had a nice lunch.

Stopped at High Falls and hiked around there, nice spot.

Well that was that day done and over with, stay safe everyone!
Beautiful photos, I love those waterfalls! ❤️🇨🇦

Dorset is lovely! I imagine the air is fresh and the aroma of nature is heavenly. No beer today? 😆 High Falls looks explosive and impressive. Wow! Enjoy your cold brews at home. 🍻

Looks like a nice place – the video sure told a lot about Dorset and how people come from all over the globe to see it. I like the breweries that you visited – some very quaint and have a small town feeling. I could get into that. I am sitting here at 11:25 and fireworks erupting through the neighborhood. The peace and quiet of a small town would suit me just fine. I like the waterfalls as well.

I love it too and for me, at age 66, it is likely my age and many times I feel the world moves too fast for me and I’d like to jump off!
