I did not know there was a Tim Horton Museum, did you?

This was the first Tim Horton’s to open on 17 May 1964. It’s a regular Tim’s inside on the main floor but you can go to the second floor and they have a cute little museum, free to go in and only takes about 15 minutes. Oh yeah, it’s in Hamilton, Ontario…………..

For anyone who doesn’t know who/what Tim Horton’s is……….it’s a hugely popular Canadian coffee shop serving donuts, cookies, sandwiches, soup etc. I believe there are some shops in the USA, certain parts now so they may be expanding!

  1. I know who Tim Horton is, there is a location in my Michigan hometown! I miss their drinks and food, there are no locations in Nevada. I’d like to visit that museum!

  2. Tm Horton played for Toronto and lastly for Buffalo. In 1974 while driving home from Buffalo to Toronto he died in a car accident. I did not know about the museum. I must drop in when I am in Hamilton.

  3. Susan – I did not know there was a Tim Horton’s museum … Tim Horton’s is popular here in the States and whenever you pass one in the morning, the drive-thru line usually winds around the next block. It’s a shame about Tim Horton’s untimely death and the resulting friction between his widow and his partner about the business. Money is good to have, but sometimes unfortunately is the source of evil and sadness.
